The following information applies only to online exams/quizzes delivered through Avatar Virtual Learning.  An exam will display a single question at a time and after you submit your answer it will be identified as right or wrong with an explanation.  The exam questions are pulled in random order from a question pool and if you are a logged in user it can be restricted to questions you have not already been asked in a previous exam.  For this subject we currently have 75 questions available in the question pool from which 75 questions will be chosen.  There is no time limit on practice exams but time will be tracked and displayed at the end.

Before Starting an Exam:

  • Avoid minimizing, maximizing, or a launching a new Internet browser window during the exam.
  • DO NOT use the browser's Back and Forward buttons; instead use the "Next" and "Submit" buttons.
  • Do not click Next and Submit more than once. It may take several minutes for submission to complete.
  • These practice exams aren't time restricted but try to maintain a fast pace to prepare for the real one.
  • Some questions might require figures or supplemental information to answer. For these a link will be displayed with the question. Clicking on it will bring up a screen with the additionl information. Please note that your pop-up blocker must be disabled to show this screen.
